The O3DIAL-FR unit is responsible for the O3 DIAL instruments within ACTRIS (both for tropospheric and stratospheric configurations).
Its tasks include:
- developing, maintaining and issuing the proper guidelines and procedures, in line with the strategy developed by the NDACC lidar working group;
- providing training, and providing a reference open-source retrieval code to produce the L2 data products; – performing a quality check of the lidar signals obtained at NFs and the L2 output data;
- issuing feedback and status reports to the NFs/users;
- providing the needed technical input in the labelling and auditing process.
